Brand new for 2026, the famous Jobst-design tensiometer is now available for smaller wheels. 20" and less wheels use shorter spokes that don't offer a 4" (100mm) clear span on which to measure. The Mini model has a 3" (75mm) capacity that works on most smaller wheels.
Importantly, the grip distance is smaller which makes a better fit for small hands. Here, the original 4" is red and the Mini is black.
For features and benefits, please see the description of the original, 4" gauge. Bear in mind that reducing measuring distance lowers accuracy—unavoidable physics! Still, the Mini gives outstanding results compared other shorter span gauges.
