Seattle is home to a number of iconic bicycle enterprises and artists. Shops galore, publications, restorers, frame and wheel builders, and eclectic individuals. They're too numerous to list but Elliott Bay Bicycles deserves a mention.
Bill Davidson and Bob Freeman hold forth in their historic location, not far from the famous Pike Place Market. Bill is well known for his enlightened frames and Bob, among other talents, for his wonderful restorations. Here are two that feature Ghisallo wood rims. In neither of these was wood the mandatory rim material. But in each case, a classic design was enhanced with the choice.
Visit Bob's galleries for the Paramount and the Cinelli.
Another local stylist is Chris Cameron, who found a great way to feature the Madonna di Ghisallo Medallion on a mixte from Soma.

Ghisallo rims and the sanctuary medallion make a nice combination, don't you agree? Have an artistic bike to share? Please send your details to me.
